OUR BEGINNINGS WERE HUMBLE
Our church began meeting in homes in 1989. When the property on the corner of M-115 and Casey Road became available we bought the 7 1/2 acres, and began building. We are a small church with a huge heart.

Pastor Roger has pastored Crystal Lake Church for over 30 years. Roger and Sharon have 2 grown children and 4 grandchildren. Their children also serve the Lord in ministries and outreach. Roger was born and raised in Frankfort and was called to preach God's Word while in the Navy. Both Roger and Sharon love the Lord, and are honored and blessed to be a part of Crystal Lake Church.

Sharon organizes events, creates the weekly bulletin, does the finances, decorates, and keeps everyone informed of all that is going on as well as play the piano for worship among so many other things!

Joseph and his wife moved to the Frankfort Area in 2016 after years of enchanting summer stays. They immediately hit it off with CLC where Joseph has occasionally substituted in the pulpit for 7 years. He enjoys discovering and teaching the lasting relevancy and trustworthiness of God’s Word. He is a Graduate of Wheaton College. He and wife are the grateful parents of 3 children.

Tyler moved back to Northern Michigan in 2021 after 3 years of being an Associate Pastor in Central California. He has over 20 years of ministry experience in the local church, overseas missions and camping ministry. He and his wife Sarah have been married for 17 years and have an 9 year old son named Azar.
